The real FrameSlicer panel — switch the theme, edit the numbers, click around.

Built with

  • After Effects
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • CEP / Bolt CEP
  • React
  • TypeScript

A three-host Adobe CEP extension. From designed frames (PSD layer comps / AI artboards) plus a storyboard, FrameSlicer exports references, scaffolds the AE project tree, paces frames on the timeline, and one-click decomposes a PSD into editable, sequenced, trimmed layers — automating the mechanical hour of the rebuild so the animation time stays creative.

What you get

  • One install, three apps

The same panel shows an export view in Photoshop and Illustrator, and the storyboard view in After Effects. Export in one, and AE picks up the job automatically.

  • The comp builds itself

Project tree, imported references as guide layers, and every frame paced on the timeline with a marker — one click from export to animation-ready.

  • PSD → editable layers

Decompose a layered PSD into real AE layers — text stays editable — each trimmed to exactly the storyboard frames it appears in.

  • Rebuild without fear

Re-export and rebuild as the design changes. FrameSlicer reuses what's there and never clobbers the animation you've already done.

  • Updates that come to you

The panel checks for new versions and shows what changed, right inside the host app. Bugs and ideas go straight to the developer from the status bar.
